International Folklore Festival Galati – Romania

The Academic Folklore Ensemble took part in the International Folklore Festival Galati in nearby Romania. Young dancers from different countries presented the traditions of the nations along the Danube River. They were there because of the summer sun and their love for folklore. Our hosts were more than kind and friendly – they really managed to make us feel at home there. This Romanian tour was emotional and energizing, with lots of smiles, dancing and excitement. We are grateful to the festival organizers for our great time there, as well as to CIOFF Bulgaria for the opportunity to represent our country on yet other international festival.
